Performing Arts Center Policies

Parking is provided in the lots adjacent to and south of the Performing Arts Center. There is a $4.00 parking permit fee. Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless otherwise noted.

Every patron, regardless of age, will require a ticket for admission into the venue. This policy includes children seated in a patron's lap.   Pursuant to California Building Code (24 CCR 1004.7), the maximum capacity of our venues is equal to the number of seats contained within each. To ensure capacity is not exceeded, each patron must have a ticket, including infants. For events that are not ticketed, once capacity is reached, no additional patrons will be allowed into the venue.

No food or drinks are allowed inside the venue (except bottled water with a cap) This includes any food or drinks (other than bottled water).

Latecomers (patrons arriving after the start of a performance) will be held in the lobby until there is a break in the performance that allows the Ushering staff to safely seat you without disrupting a performance. The doors open approximately half an hour prior to the scheduled show start time, so please plan accordingly. Patrons are not permitted to stand on the top of stairs, in aisles, on chairs, in doorways, or anywhere else deemed unsafe by the House Staff due to building code and so as to maintain clear walkways.

The following items are not allowed inside the venue for safety reasons: car seats, strollers, tripods, helium balloons, oversized instruments, glitter, rolling backpacks, and any other item that does not fit comfortably on your lap. All walkways, stairs, doors, exits, and aisles must remain clear and open in the event of an emergency. Any items brought to the venue must be left in the lobby where a Front of House staff member will be posted at all times during the performance. Please note that Mt. SAC and its staff members are not responsible in case of theft or damage.

If you have any further questions, please email the box office at boxoffice@mtsac.edu
